The deadlines are set with an understanding of how much work is included in each block. Some sections may take you a bit longer than others but just keep moving ahead one step at a time.
It's a good thing to make sure you are using your study time effectively and without distractions. A timer works really well for this. I used one when I was a student and am still using it to keep track of work time. Try this. When you sit down to study - start the timer. When you get up for something, check your email or to talk with a family member - stop the timer. Keep track of this for a few days and you will be able to see exactly how much time is spent on your studies.
