getting ready for CPC/Webinar and AAPC review

Has anybody used this?  It's a one-hour Webinar.  It's expensive but if it will help me pass the test it might be worth it.  Part of the blurb says it isn't for people just starting out in coding.

Am eager to hear what anyone out there has to say about it.

After scheduling for CPC I received this via E-mail.  Thought I'd share it.  "If you feel you need additional ICD-10 study, you can review our free ICD-10 refresher courses."  I started the review today, slow going because you have to wait and wait and wait for loading between each section of information/question, but the information is valuable to me.  

Has anyone else used this refresher course?  Find it helpful?

Hi Donna.  I didn't use a "course" exactly, but I used AAPC's CPC study guide.  I found that was a great review for the CPC.

I agree with Nicki. The AAPC study guide is a great resource. It's a little over 400 pages, so allow yourself time to get through it. I also found YouTube videos by Missokieok very helpful.  Many of the notes she suggested to write in the codebook, were very helpful when I took the test.  Good luck in whatever route you decide to take to study!

I am looking on the AAPC website and it has the Study Guide for $69.95 until March 31 (regular price $99.95), and the Practice Exams are on sale for $29.95 (regularly $59.95)   I wasn't planning on joining the AAPC yet, I'm in Module 3 Section 7.  For those of you who have bought these, are these good prices or do they always have sales going on and it's never the full price?  Thanks!

Looks like a good price to me.  I had to pay regular price several months ago. Might not be a bad time to join AAPC so you can get this savings.
