Medical insurance providers need to have the heads examined. Only crazies would be able to think up all this mumbo-jumbo. No wonder it's a mess.

Personally, after working for insurance when HMOs were big, I think this reimbursement methodology is the best so far that puts the patient first. It's more time intensive for everyone, but patients are not shuffled through like they are on an assembly line. Just my thoughts. There are positives and negatives to all reimbursement systems.
