Hello, everyone! I hope that I can get some advice from anyone who can somehow relate to my situation. I’m currently in Mod IV (beginning), obtained my CPC-A in May, and I have zero medical background prior to Andrews.
So, as I’m seeing the “light at the end of the tunnel”, and preparing to find my first coding job, I’m getting increasingly anxious about the whole process. It just seems SO overwhelming to me at this point. I believe a big part of it is because this will be the very first time that I will have to go on the job hunt. I was approached for my last job, which started as a little part time job while I was in college, and ended up being my job for 9 years (the majority of my working life). I’ve never had to send out a resume, or go on an actual interview. So, this whole process seems foreign to me...and scary, if I’m being completely honest.
With that said, I’m so VERY eager and excited about my future in coding. It took me a long time to commit to something that I wanted to do for a career. I absolutely LOVE what I’m learning. I think it’s just the “fear of the unknown” that’s getting to me.
Can anyone give me some words of advice regarding the job hunt? Tips? Tricks? It's much appreciated!
