Hello fellow students!  My name is Sherry and I just enrolled in the Coding program.  I've been in the medical field for over 25 years, primarily as a medical transcriptionist.  I'm so excited to be starting this new chapter in my life!

Hi Sherry!

I hope you enjoy your journey with medical coding! I am sure with your background of transcription for so many years that a lot of the material will be "review" for you! Have fun and enjoy your new journey!

Welcome Sherry!  I'm sure you'll love it, it is challenging and nerve-racking and makes you want to pull your hair out sometimes, but also very rewarding and lots of fun.  Lots of really nice people here too!

Welcome Sherry.  I also am an MT for over 20  years.  I cannot wait to finish my work day and go study the coding.  I did not expect to love it so much.  I was just going to bite the bullet and get through it and I find myself having a fond attachment to my coding books and being in Module III still having fun learning everything.  Even when I make an error, what I learned from the error far outweighs the horror of the error (you know how MTs are with errors!).  Anyway good luck in your studies.

Welcome Sherry.  Congratulations on starting a new chapter in your life.  I too have always worked in the medical field, the last 10 plus years as a MT/QA editor.  I am loving my coding studies, and I am sure you will too.
