Hello. Could someone please explain how to code sequelae from old crushing injury on the left foot. There's no disease listed so I go to the injury. I found the code for " crushed "and " foot". There's no specification as to whether it's the right or left foot. So I should just use the code for "foot"? Also " crushing injury " in the Sequelae index says code to injury with the seventh character as S. The code for "crushing " of the  "foot" is S97.8-. At this point do I put place holders for the fifth and sixth characters and an "S" for the seventh? Did I just figure this out right now? I  hope so. That would be very encouraging. I've only been at this for 2 weeks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Shawn
