I struggled with this section as well and wondered if I would ever be able to retain enough of it for it to click. In fact, I probably went over everything about 5 times before I felt like it made sense enough to move on. It really does get easier, especially when you actually start doing the coding in the very next section--at least that's how it was for me. Hope that's a bit of encouragement for you. Best wishes!

Laurie is right. You're going to be revisiting all of this again and again. It isn't expected that you will master everthing in this section. It will 'kick in' during a later section.  :)
