Site badges are like virtual stickers. Some are little icons you can "unlock" for doing something on a site. I've seen them on some other forums where, for example, you post 20 times and you get a badge. They're kind of neat, but they're basically only for collecting. I've also seen some used for advertising/promotions that you could add to your profile to promote a cause or another website. That kind of badge usually has an embedded link to take you to the site you're promoting. I don't think there are any loaded here. Hope that helps!
