Two friends of mine took an Alaskan cruise with a "Knitting" theme. That just sounds outrageous to me.
Are any of you talented in any of these skills? My mother was skilled in all of them. I didn't inherit any of it.
I envy those of you who are able to make beautiful things with your hands.
I gave crocheting and knitting 'a try' about a year and a half ago. Since then, I've crocheted a bedspread and washcloths as well as knit a bedspread (getting close to being done), hats, scarves, a dress, a sweater, mittens, gloves, socks, baby shorts...and the list goes on and on. Didn't know if I would have any real 'talent' for it when I started. Now there is no turning back! My mother was extremely talented in this regard, and I seem to have inherited at least a fraction of her talent, but really only a small fraction.
If you ever want to try it, just remember that there are essentially two stitches in knitting; knit and purl. Everything else is how you arrange and manipulate those two stitches. When you keep that in mind, the other concepts become easier to process and learn.
Ummmm, yea I wish...lol! I only wish I could! homemade body scrubs yes please anyone let me know if you want me to send you a body scrub because I love to make them! As far as anything else...I wish!

I love to both knit and crochet. I currently have three projects on which I am working, a baby blanket, a sweater, and a large afghan. I could sit and work on these things all day, so I have to make a deal with myself that all my work and other responsibilities are completed before I can work on my projects. If I didn't do this, nothing else would ever get done! :O
I price them at $11.50 for 16 oz so far my most popular one is Lavender oil, lavender herbs, lemon zest, lemon, pure raw honey from my local bee grower sugar and coconut oil all in the delicious scents and ready for relaxation and exfoliate to soften skin and promotes sensual emotions between couples as well. If there is another scent in particular that you like I have no problem incorporating it! Lets just say I am so IN LOVE with my scrubs, at least what I just described is how I feel when I make them for myself! lol! If anyone wants one from me you'd have to pay the shipping and handling part which isn't much just as long as your in the United States hahaha! I wish I had that talent. My grandmother was very talented with knitting and crocheting. One wish I have would be to have her again to learn from. I am however very crafty and love to try new things. My son plays ice hockey and one of the moms sits and teaches crocheting to other moms during practices.
