Has anyone taken the Arrohealth coding assessment?

I keep reading that it's very difficult, 3 hour time limit, 90% required, and 62 questions.

So far I haven't read about anyone passing it. I'll bet some of you could, if it's a fair test, and I assume it would be for whatever it is they are testing for. It may be something specific, maybe even heavy on a specialty or even a sub-specialty. I would love to know more.

I'm just curious if any of you have taken it and how you did.

I took it last weekend, and I passed. I didn't think it was that difficult, but it certainly wasn't easy.  I thought it was  a fair test.  It was 100% ICD-9,  multiple choice, some T/F, and some fill in the blanks. I took it and had about 20 minutes to spare. The hardest part for me was switching gears to ICD-9.  ICD-9 is so...messy... ;)

Yes, I took it last week and they called me a short time later to say I'd passed and were offering me the job.  I didn't think it was as hard as the CCS!

It looks like we'll be coworkers then, Sara!  :)

I suppose what this 'teaches' us is this:  Don't believe everything you hear on miscellaneous coding forums.  Not one person on one group had been able to pass it and it sounded just terrible!  Now we know that that's all relative. What's terrible to one person may be perfectly do-able to another with a different level of training.

I did take the exam and it was hard, however I did pass and was offered the HCC Coding Auditor position through the staffing firm they hired.
