I don't know about the rest of you, but some days everything goes smoothly and easily, and other days, ARRRGH!    There doesn't have to be any special reason.  What do YOU do when you're having a day that needs an attitude adjustment?

Occasionally, for me, a walk will help. Not in today's 30-degree weather, though.

Occasionally I can stop for a snack, or hop on my exercise equipment, or do a bit of yoga.

Some days, nothing helps except for my PURE GRIT to get through it.

I can definitely relate........,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the ways you have listed are great ways to cope.

For me getting through those days is taking a few moments for prayer and giving thought and thanks for what is good in my life and maybe listening to some worship music to get my mind refocused on what is important.

That's truly the best way to cope - To pray and stay thankful for what is good in our lives.

For me sometimes talking it out is the most beneficial.  I don't think we need to vent and talk everything out every time something goes wrong, but I do think a quality talk can help on difficult days.  Sometimes we need another perspective to guide us along, or just a listening ear.  When I take a walk and pray I feel the best.  Spending time with the Lord is always the best medicine, yet sometimes its not the first place we turn.

Love this, Linda! Some days, I just push through, but on the toughest days, I take a reading break. Reading is my stress reliever. I set a timer on my phone, read for a bit, and if I am mentally in a better space when my timer goes off, I get back to work. If I need more time, I give myself more time to read. Eventually, I'll feel better and I'll be ready to get back to work. I've learned to better recognize when I need to step away.

Reading the answers from all of you, we have some very wise students with some very smart ideas. Speaking of talking, and this is a whole 'nuther topic, are there any topics that you would like to talk about here on our forum?
