I want to say hello to everyone. I am a fairly new student at Andrews. I have been an MT for many years, and I am looking forward to this new part of my life.
Does anyone recommend flash cards for the medical language portion of the program? Any other suggestions to help me retain information would be helpful.
Also, why is it that we have to write in pencil or a bible marker only in the Textbooks. Are these books returned at the end of the course?

I really like Quizlet for online flashcards. I've used it for Med term, A&P, coding, etc. hitnots.com and anatomy arcade are helpful too. http://www.anatomyarcade.com/index.html. I would also recommend joining the group create a coder on facebook. There are numerous games, quizzes and other resources that I have found to be very helpful.
As far as writing and highlight in your books, I was told that if you use a regular highlighter it will bleed through the pages and ruin your books.
